    Assessing the adequacy of Lithuania's electricity system in 2025-2030

    Researchers of Kaunas University of Technology, following the European Resource Adequacy Assessment (ERAA) Methodology, approved by ACER on 2nd October 2020, conducted the adequacy assessment of the Lithuanian electric power system for 2025 and 2030. Within the scope of the study, 16 different scenarios were analysed and the reliability of the electricity system and readiness for electricity supply was assessed. The results of the study showed that after synchronization with the continental European grid, Lithuania's system is ready to operate reliably.
