Litgrid will publish daily wind power generation forecast
From 9th of January, 2013 Lithuanian transmission system operator Litgrid, responsible for balancing of power generated by wind parks connected to transmission network will make and publish forecast of wind power generation for the next day for trade in the power exchange.
According to the order published by the Minister of Energy of Lithuania on the 7th of January, 2013, Lietuvos energija, Lithuanian electricity generation company from 9th of January, 2013 shall be a temporary purchaser of electricity generated by the wind farms that are connected to transmission network. In accordance with this order Litgrid will make and publish forecast of wind power generation on the website www.litgrid.eu/go.php/eng/Wind_generation/10.
