Construction of a double-circuit 330 kV electricity transmission line Kruonis HPSP-Alytus
Significance of the project
The new line will enable a reliable electric power exchange between Lithuania and Poland.
Purpose of the project
Strengthening of the Lithuanian power transmission network in relation to the implementation of LitPol Link – the Lithuanian-Polish power link, and ensuring the 1000 MW exchange via this link.
Calendar of events
In 2012, an environmental impact assessment of the project and the preparation of the territorial planning document (the special plan) was started.
The line construction works are planned for 2015 - 2016.
