    Construction of a electricity transmission line Klaipėda – Marios 3

    Significance of the project

    Construction of the 110 kV Klaipėda-Marios 3 electricity transmission line is aimed at ensuring the reliability of power supply to the Klaipėda district, Klaipėda Seaport, and Neringa Town.

    Purpose of the project

    The project is aimed at increasing the reliability of the transmission grid in the Klaipėda region.
     
    Main characteristics of the project

    Length of the overhead power transmission line with underground cable sections: 7.1 km
    Voltage: 110 kV

    Calendar of events

    A tendering procedure for the power transmission line construction works will be launched in March 2013. Signing of the contract is scheduled for October 2013. Construction will be completed and the line will be put into operation by the end of 2015.
