    System power reserves

    Power reserves
    In order to deal with imbalances, TSO have two types of balancing resources available : manually activated frequency restoration reserve (mFRR) and restoration reserve (RR).
     
    Manually activated frequency restoration reserve (mFRR) power is 400 MW and provided by  AB "Ignitis gamyba". The reserve includes two hydro units each for 200 MW power in Kruonis HPSP. The service support cost of mFRR is 1,67 Eur/MW/h.
