Grid services to third parties
Electricity market participants importing or exporting electricity from or to third countries (countries other than the European Union Member States) must enter into a contract for the use of the transmission grid with transmission system operator Litgrid.
Market participants who have concluded a contract for the use of the transmission grid:
- UAB „Energijos kodas“
- SIA „AJ POWER“
- ALPIQ Energy SE
- SIA "Spectrum Baltic"
- Scener UAB
The tariff (excluding VAT) for the use of the electricity transmission grid, when a Market Participant uses the electricity transmission grid to import or export electricity from/to countries whose transmission system operators are not parties to the inter TSO compensation (ITC) clearing and settlement Multi-Year agreement, from 23 April 2021 until 21 July 2022 - 0.6 EUR/MWh, from 22 July 2022 - 1.2 EUR/MWh.
Since 1 March 2016 for the export of electricity to countries that are not Member States of the European Union the additional tariff for the use of interconnection lines set by the National Energy Regulatory Council shall be applied, the tariff (excluding VAT) from 1 January 2022 - 6.84 EUR/MWh.
