    Operational planning

    Litgrid carries out operational planning that enables it to ensure the requisite level of the system‘s reliability and to prepare for the real-time system control. Experts in operational planning schedule disconnections of electric equipment, assess the system‘s reliability, determine the power balance, and plan and order auxiliary services required for the stable operation of the system. Yearly, monthly, weekly, daily and hourly operational planning is carried out.
